If you have read the VALIS trilogy, it is a must see. This film may not appeal to the uninitiated, but for those of us who are in too deep, it is required viewing. Based on PKD’s autobiographical final works (not including his monumental Exegesis), this film deftly combines the narrative threads from what is considered PKD’s VALIS triology. Don’t forget to remember. Before watching, it might be a good idea to read the brief, well drawn comic based on PKD’s religious experience, which is central in every work of the VALIS trilogy.
